

Pre-Care and Post-Care Instructions
At Glamour Beauty & Brows, we want you to achieve the best, longest-lasting results from your beauty treatments. Please carefully review the following pre-care and post-care instructions to ensure optimal healing and satisfaction.
Touch-Up Reminder (All New Services)- A touch-up appointment is required 6–8 weeks after your initial procedure to perfect and maintain your results. Touch-Ups have additional Costs and a deposit is required for all appointments. We suggest touching up your PMU yearly to keep your PMU looking fresh!
Brow Pre-Care & Aftercare (Microblading, Powder, Combo Brows)
(Pre-Care)-
To ensure the best results and proper pigment retention:Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, Vitamin E) for 24–48 hours prior. Do not wax, tweeze, tint, or thread brows 3–7 days before your appointment. Avoid facials, chemical peels, Botox, or laser treatments for 2 weeks prior. Discontinue retinol, Retin-A, and exfoliating products near the brow area for 7 days prior. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or sunburn 1 week prior. not work out the day of your appointment. Arrive with clean skin, no makeup on the brow area. Eat before your appointment and stay hydrated. After Your Appointment.
(Post-Care)-
Day of Procedure Gently blot brows with a clean tissue to absorb lymph fluid. Keep the area clean and dry. Do not wash for the first 24 hours. Days 1–7 Cleanse gently once daily with a mild cleanser. Pat dry -do not rub. Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment using a cotton swab. Do not over-apply. Healing Process Expect light scabbing and flaking. Brows will appear darker initially and soften as they heal. Do not pick or scratch. Avoid for 7–10 Days Makeup on brows, Sweating, workouts, saunas, Swimming and excessive moisture Sleeping directly on brows,. Avoid for 2–4 Weeks Sun exposure and tanning Facials or skin treatments.
Lip Blushing Pre-Care & Aftercare
(Pre-Care)-
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners for 24–48 hours prior. Keep lips hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. Gently exfoliate lips 2–3 days before (no harsh scrubs).Avoid cold sores if prone, consult your doctor for antiviral medication. No fillers, Botox, or lip treatments 2 weeks prior. Arrive with clean, product-free lips.
(Post-Care)-
Day of Procedure Lips may feel swollen and tender, this is normal. Keep lips clean and avoid touching. Days 1–7Apply aftercare ointment as directed to keep lips hydrated. Avoid excessive moisture (no licking lips, hot steam, or soaking).Healing Process Lips may appear bold or bright initially, then fade and soften. Peeling will occur, do not pick. Avoid for 7–10 Days Spicy foods, excessive heat, and sweating. Makeup or lipstick, Kissing or friction on the lips. Avoid for 2 Weeks-Sun exposure Swimming and saunas
Eyeliner (Lash Enhancement) Pre-Care & Aftercare
(Pre-Care)-
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners for 24–48 hours prior .Do not wear eye makeup to your appointment. Remove lash extensions prior to your appointment. Avoid lash lifts or tints 1 week prior. If you wear contacts, bring glasses for after your appointment.
(Post-Care)-
Day of Procedure Expect slight swelling or puffiness, this is normal. Keep the area clean and avoid touching. Days 1–7 Cleanse gently with a mild cleanser if instructed. Apply aftercare only if recommended. Avoid rubbing or applying pressure to the eyes. Healing Process Mild swelling, tightness, or dryness may occur. Do not pick or rub the area. Avoid for 7–10 Days Eye makeup, Lash extensions or strip lashes. Excessive sweating or steam. Avoid for 2 Weeks Swimming, saunas, and sun exposure, Rubbing or pulling the eye area.
